Akie Kanao, a Netherlands-based Japanese hair stylist, started her career as a hair stylist Kobe in Japan where she spent ten years gaining the experience as a salon manager and a hairdressing trainer.

While scaling-up the base of her activities to develop her professional expertise overseas, especially to Los Angels, New York and London, she also had completed three training courses at Vidal Sassoon Academy which theory and aesthetic sense of hair styling impressed her deeply.

In the beginning of 2016, she moved to the Netherlands and there she has been living fully while having a direct influence by the international customers and the local culture such as fashion and art.
